Applies double/debiased machine learning to multi-year panel data to separate the causal effect of climate stress on milk output from the many confounders that move with weather, allowing flexible controls without hand-specifying functional form.
Silvopasture Economics in the Southeastern U.S.

Pairs enterprise budget modelling with biophysical carbon accumulation data to estimate net present value of silvopasture conversion over a full rotation, with and without carbon revenue. Presented at the AAEA-WAEA Annual Meeting in Denver, July 2025.
